purga
done a coupla runs to purga over the last 2 weekends…. last weekend was a write off due to the bronco getting stuck every 5 metres (and i got stuck on recovery duty!). took us 4hours to do a track that normally takes 2 hours max.
so last nite we went out with a small group of 4 vehicles…. munga got stuck in the mud a few times in the zook until we noticed he was getting no front drive at all - red faced munga locked the hubs and popped straight outta the boghole.
purga’s a weird place - one minute it’s slippery muddy clay and then 500 metres up the track it’s all sandstone.
drove a coupla things last night that i normally wouldn’t have - nothing broke and i got through so maybe peer pressure is a good thing
